1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
macintosh, macoun or Granny apple slices, peeled or unpeeled
How to make caramel apple dip:
Remove label from can of sweetened condensed milk. Boil the UNOPENED can for 3 hours, adding water to keep submerged throughout. Let cool completely and refrigerate for 24 hours.
Open both ends of can, push the caramel through into a serving dish. Remove both ends from caramel. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Serve with slices of tart apple.
