Delicatessen opens in Alma

Several years ago the retail giant Wal-Mart began adding Subway restaurants as the eatery of choice inside new super centers. So what brought this about? It is because people are now starting to worry about what they put into their bodies, and deciding to visit healthier restaurants. The reality is that Subway offers healthier menu options than the fast food giants like McDonald's, Burger King and various others. In fact some of the most popular restaurants today are delicatessens like Jason's Deli and McAlister's Deli. While the city of Fort Smith does not have a Jason's Deli, McAlister's Deli opened its doors in December of 2012 and River City Deli introduced Fort Smith residents to the New York-style deli the year before. Now the city of Alma has their own delicatessen as well called Let's Eat.

Let's Eat opened its doors in December of 2012 offering Alma residents a new form of cuisine that so far has only been available in Fort Smith itself. Let's Eat is a deli with a hot plate special each day according to owner Tai Pulis. The deli offers traditional deli sandwiches like the B.L.T. Club, Ham and Turkey Sandwiches. Let's Eat also offers a Chicken Apple Salad Sandwich and for all of the Elvis fans out there a Peanut & Banana. The hot plate lunches vary from day to day, but will ensure that no one leaves hungry. Let's Eat also offers a Soup of the day, as well as a Dessert and Kid's Menu. Anyone craving a fresh deli sandwich or steaming bowl of soup does not have to use extra gas to go to Fort Smith, they just need to stop into Let's Eat.

Let's Eat is located at 208 Collum Lane West Alma, AR 479-632-6322. They are open from 10:30 AM until 2 PM Monday thru Friday.
