Deleted 'Guardians of the Galaxy' actress revealed as Knowhere pit boss

According to Cinema Blend on Tuesday, a James Gunn's Instagram photo of Dave Bautista as Drax and actress Marama Corlett as the unseen pit boss in "Guardians of the Galaxy" was revealed. It looks as if Bautista was having some fun with the feisty appearing thespian as if it looks like he was gesturing some fun at her small stature. But according to Gunn, he was really just rubbing her head as he did in the cut scene.

Corlett had appeared as a servant in Disney's "Maleficent" and first debuted in the film "The Devil's Double." Gunn proclaimed in a lengthy caption on Instagram that she unfortunately had to cut a good portion of her out of the film. The venue in which she was suppose to appear was the scene where Groot, Rocket, and Drax were wagering small creatures against one another in a friendly and drunk alien game. Gunn stated that it was for plotting and timing issues that motivated this scene to be mostly withdrawn from the film. She was actually seen, but not heard.

Gunn lamented how great she was at remember the lines to her part that were written in the foreign language on Knowhere in the Boot of Jemiah. He also mentioned even though most of her part was cut, that there was no telling where she may show up again as she did not die in the havoc that ensued at Knowhere.

For those that remember that portion of the movie, Star-Lord was making some moves on Gamora and as result, almost got his slit throat by The Most Dangerous Woman in the Universe. Also, Rocket was about to shoot Drax for calling him demeaning names before Peter Quill would remind him of the sizable booty unit amount that The Collector would bestow upon them should they sell off one of the Infinity Stones.
