Delaware County recently launched its enhanced crisis intervention program. The Delaware County Crisis Connections Team was launched in July 2013 as a resource for individuals who are dealing with emotional and mental health issues.
The crisis services program is free to children and adults who are residents of Delaware County. The program is currently funded through Health Choices and county based money.
There are three components to the program: trained crisis teams available 24/7 to provide an on-site mobile crisis assessment or intervention; a peer-to-peer warm line, which allows residents to connect with certified peer specialists; and prevention and intervention services.
