Definition of Due Diligence Deemed Too Diligent by Overdue, Fifth Grade Teacher

Barto, Michigan – Patricia Kimbler, Fifth Grade Teacher at Monterey Jack Elementary School voiced her opinion Thursday night at the monthly PTO Meeting, stressing that the phrase “due diligence” as defined in the school’s glossary of unused words was too diligent for the school’s students. “This is something that needs to be changed. Not just for our children, but for their children and their children’s children!” Proclaimed Kimbler, who was 3 weeks overdue in her pregnancy and visibly showing at the time. “All you have to do is think of their futures and you will see where I’m coming from,” she added. Despite making the statement 45 minutes before the meeting started and immediately leaving afterwards to give birth at the local hospital, Kimbler felt that the power of her statement had a resonating effect that will last for days.
