Dee Snider's 'Growing Up Twisted' not returning for second season

Legendary rocker Dee Snider is best known as the frontman for American heavy metal band, Twisted Sister. In 2010, he brought his family to network television in the A&E reality series, "Growing Up Twisted." With no new reports on whether the show would be returning, I contacted Dee on Twitter this morning to see if he could provide any updates.

Sadly, he stated that "Growing Up Twisted" would not return to syndication. For fans of the show, this is surely disappointing as his family was so easy to admire and laugh with throughout each episode that aired.

But wait Snider family fans - you can see Dee and his wife Suzette on upcoming episodes of two other television shows airing in 2012. It was just announced this morning that Dee will be participating in the latest season of Celebrity Apprentice, on NBC beginning February 12. And his wife Suzette will be appearing on another show called Celebrity Wife Swap, which airs on ABC Tuesday, January 10.

Dee and Suzette have such fun personalities, and you can tell after 30 years of marriage, they do still really love one another. Don't forget to tune in to each show and see how they deal with the situations they are put in thanks to costars like Flavor Flav (I honestly feel sorry for Suzette having to live with him for a week), Victoria Gotti (another strong, opinionated woman I adore), George Takei (love this man) and Lou Ferrigno (Dee has some tough competition on CA this season!).
