The glasses that are being recalled are sold in New York, Orlando, Las Vegas and London. The glasses have the M&M logo an M&M image of one of the candies in either red, green or blue colors as well as a saying that has made them irresistible.

Consumers are urged not to use the glasses for consumption but rater return the glasses to the store they were purchased at. The glasses according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have become aware though testing these products that the levels for leachable lead and cadmium exceed the recommended guidelines for these metals and may be toxic.

There have been approximately 1,202 pint-sized glasses and 6,335 shot glasses sold this year. Not all the glasses are affected by the recall. Only those glasses carrying the SKU number of: 835986, 835989, 835990, 835993, 835991 and 835992 are being recalled.
