I think I wrote one article in December with the holidays, being sick, and my son Alex taking on a new job, I do not think I accomplished much in the month of December. So, I am catching up.
Bowling at Dunedin Lanes Bev Ullrich had a perfect 300 with a 921 series (4 games), and Roy Robertson also shot a 300-814 and Paul Balog 290-715. A nice New Year’s gift!!!

Upcoming tournaments and events at Twedt’s Bowling Center: January 12th at 2 pm Gulf Coast USBC is having their 4th Annual BVL bowl-a-thon. Some Veterans from Bay Pines Veterans Hospital will be bowling. They always look forward to coming out. There will be an auction for hotel stay, cruise and other items. We hope to see you out there. The last few days of the year and the first day of the year, Seminole had a Carabaas Doubles Tournament. The winners of the men division were Gary Halstrom & Drew Beierlein with a total of 1456. The mixed division winners were Hanh Pullen & Gary Halstrom with a total of 1444. And the women’s division went to Sandy Jones & Phyliss Berggren with a total of 1465. High School Age Bowlers – Lower Pinellas Spring Trio High School Traveling League you will go between Liberty, Seminole, Sunrise, Twedt’s & Ten Pins. This league is open to high school youth private or public schools welcome to come out. The league will bowl on Thursday afternoons at 3:45 pm. \Three (3) bowlers to a team. 12 weeks from January 17 – April 11th. The 13th week April 18, will be pizza and end of season awards. Teams can be all boys, girls or mixed. Your choice. Handicap 100% of 220. It is sanctioned league, USBC youth award emblems & pins.The cost is $60. If you are not sanctioned you will be required to pay an additional $5 to sanction.

The Bowling Centers Association of Florida presents … The 2013 INTERNATIONAL FAMILY TOURNAMENT FLORIDA STATE FINALS IS being held this year on March 16 & 17th at Shore Lanes Palm Bay in Melbourne, Florida.
