December 23: Launchpad presents Thy Art is Murder and guests

On December 22, Albuquerque’s own Launchpad presents Thy Art is Murder, Tyrants, Inhuman Hands, and Beyond My Dreams. Doors for this 13+ show are scheduled to open at 6:30 p.m., with the first band taking the stage at 7 p.m. Entry is only $12 but is subject to change at the door.

Formed in 2006, Australia’s Thy Art is Murder play extreme metal. The band’s latest full-length studio CD is titled Hate, courtesy of Nuclear Blast.

Rio Rancho’s Tyrants play a combination of hardcore, metal, and ambient.

Albuquerque’s Inhuman Hands play a mix of deathcore and mathcore. The band is currently working on their debut EP.

Albuquerque’s Beyond My Dreams play metalcore. The band members are all about having a good time and playing heavy music.

Around since 1997, Albuquerque’s Launchpad has played host to bands of numerous genres, including punk, indie rock, and metal. The Launchpad is located on 618 Central Avenue Southwest, which is between 6th and 7th streets.
