Based on the television series of the same name, The A-Team consists of former Special Forces John "Hannibal" Smith, Templeton "Face" Peck, Bosco Albert "B.A." Baracus and Captain H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock. Hannibal and Face first meet B.A. and Murdock in Mexico while escaping from renegade General Javier Tuco.

Eight years and eighty successful missions later, the highly recognized team is stationed in Iraq. They are recruited by CIA Agent Lynch to help steal U.S. Treasury plates and over $1 billion in counterfeit money possessed by Iraqi insurgents. Despite warnings from Face's former lover DCIS Captain Charissa Sosa to stay away from this mission and ignoring commanding officer General Morrison's initial advice, the team goes on the unofficial Black Ops mission after Morrison finally relents.

The mission is successful and the team return back to the base with the goods, not realizing their lives are about to change. Suddenly, Morrison's vehicle explodes with him in it and the plates are stolen by the Pike and the Black Forest private security team. Without Morrison as their proof that the mission was authorized and the evidence lost, the team is court-martialed and sentenced to ten years in prison.

Six month passes and Lynch pays Hannibal a visit in prison. He wants Hannibal to help retrieve the plates from Pike. They strike a deal to wipe clean the team's records in exchange for the plates. Breaking the rest of the team out of prison, Hannibal, Face, B.A. and Murdock track down Pike while Sosa is busy tracking them down.

In a high stakes game of double-crosses, will the team succeed as there is no Plan B?
