Next weekend, the cherry trees will be the biggest draw in Conyers, Ga. This weekend, it will be rabbits and guinea pigs. Decatur Rabbit Breeders Association will hold its double open, double youth spring show March 16, 2013, at the Rockdale County Extension Building in Conyers. The show begins at 8:30 a.m.

Sanctioned rabbit breeds are American Fuzzy Lop, American Sable, Dutch, Flemish Giant, French and English Lop, Holland Lop, Jersey Wooly, Mini Lop, Mini Rex, Netherland Dwarf, New Zealand, Polish, Rex and Silver Fox.
Lionheads can be entered in all open shows as an exhibition breed.
All cavy breeds will be shown.
Judges will be Derek Poole, N.Y., Jacinta Taulbee, Ohio; Piper Smith, Penn., Chris Hayhow, Ga.; Jamie Green, Ga.; and Cheryl Blackman, Texas.
The show is open to the public, and there is no admission charge. There is also no seating; spectators stand in front of the judging tables to watch the action. Parking is also free.
The Rockdale County Extension Building is located at 1400 Parker Road in Conyers, conveniently located to I-20.

At traffic light, go straight on to Hwy 81 and follow signs and stay on Hwy 81 through Loganville and on into Walnut Grove. Turn right on to Hwy 138. Follow Hwy 138 into Conyers. I-75 Northbound, from South Georgia and Florida- Take I-75 north to Monticello/Forsyth exit, Hwy 83.turn right onto Hwy 83. Follow Hwy 83 into the city of Monticello. Pick up Hwy 11, north, and follow to I-20. turn left onto I-20, heading west toward Atlanta. Take exit 82, GA Hwys 20 & 138 (Conyers Monroe). Turn left on to Hwy 138 and take, at first traffic light, right turn onto road (Old Salem Rd). Shell station and Krystal are on the corner.
