Debra Messing may be on Broadway and doing a lot of huge things these days, but she is not forgetting what brought her to the forefront and into the spotlight. The LA Times reported on Oct. 9, 2013, that she had a little "Will & Grace" reunion with Eric McCormack on the red carpet of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in North Hollywood.
The night was labeled "An Evening Honoring James Burrows," and the stars were out in full force.
Seven years after their hit NBC sitcom went off the air, the duo had a short reunion on the red carpet as they hugged and posed for photos. Their reunion seems appropriate since the night was devoted to the former director of "Will & Grace."
"JOY Is reuniting with a dear old friend and feeling like no time has passed," Messing tweeted, alongside of photo of herself with her former costar.
McCormack is currently starring in the crime drama "Perception" with Rachel Leigh Cook on TNT.
Debra Messing has done plenty in her time since their Emmy-award winning sitcom went off the air. She is preparing to appear on Broadway in "Outside Mullingar" from writer Patrick Shanley.
"The few times we have [gotten together] in New York, it's usually just [Debra] and I having dinner, and we don't even make a reservation," 50-year-old McCormack, who played straitlaced gay attorney Will Truman on the show, told Us Weekly. "We just kind of walk in, and there's always at least one waiter kind of dropping something, going, 'Am I on TV? Is this real?'"
