After being interviewed by Glenn Beck and characterized by the talk show host as a '9/11/ Truther',
Debra Medina issued a statement Feb. 11 on her website regarding the Beck interview. She stated in part, "I have never been involved with the 9/11 truth movement, and there is no doubt in my mind that Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on 9/11. I have not seen any evidence nor have I ever believed that our government was involved or directed those individuals in any way.... The real underlying question here, though, is whether or not people have the right to question our government. I think the fact that people are even asking questions on this level gets to the incredible distrust career politicians have fostered ..."
Questioned by Dallas talk show host Mark Davis last week, Medina had stronger and more derisive views of 9/11 truthers, agreeing with the host that anyone who dare would believe that the U.S. government was involved in the 2001 attack is "despicable'. Partial transcript:
Davis: "...it would have been over in a day, if after the Beck thing, you'd have said boy, I'm sorry, I messed up. I should've identified this 9/11 truther movement as the despicable paranoid cult that they are, what a horrible hateful belief to have in your head that 9/11 was an inside job. Why didnt you do that?
Medina: "Yeah I um, I agree with ya Mark, I laughed it off whenever he said I was a truther cause I thought it was so absurd and i should have just said NO, absolutely I'm not a truther. I think it's abundantly clear I'm not a truther; um ya know those things happen to us and we pick up say should've done that better, move on, and that's what we've done."
Later the host continues "someone walking around with the belief that America would do this to its' own people .. that president Bush and those around him would slaughter our own citizens in order to justify war , is a despicable thing to believe.
Medina: "Agreed!"
Davis: "And you want to be on record as agreeing with that?"
Medina: "Agreed . yeah"...I'm..I...I was thinking in terms of the commission report, not in terms of what, ya know, individuals are out there doing, and the commission report is the thing that I was getting back to.
Medina later explains, "we've got some real serious issues in Texas. If we want to talk conspiracies, let's talk the trans Texas corridor deal let's talk the Merck vaccine deal , lets talk about the bailout. Those are the things affecting us everyday in Texas .

This is propaganda. She is a constitutionalist first and that is all that matters, same w/ Ron Paul, judge him by his voting record which is the best there is, not by "how far he is willing to go" on 9/11.

After researching both sides of the issue and seeing the deception behind "weapons of mass destruction", finding out that false flag attacks are more common than not, financing both sides of a war really does happen, and all the legislation which has been passed in order to "protect" us against terror, it really doesn't seem to be too much of a stretch to doubt the validity of the 9/11 Commision Report.

Glad to see that some (hopefully most) Marine Corps officers don't believe in shooting protesters in the head, which is what one supposed Marine combat vet told me about a month ago when I spoke up against men shoving Cindy Sheehan at a rally. Many of the guys on the YouTube posting thought it was just fine to shoot people - women and mothers at that - for protestingh against the war, but not against the military. As for Debra Medina, I consider this a form of treason against many of her supporters like you and I, many of whom are combat veterans and who swore to protect the Constitution against enemies foreign & domestic; especially DOMESTIC these days! She had better come clean ASAP or I will not vote for her, and will tell everyone that I told to vote for her that I was wrong & she's a two-faced liar!
Maybe the guys that came by Ross Perot's house late at night and told him to leave politics for the safety of his daughter came by and talked to deb. About the only rational reason I can think of why she would commit political suicide like this.

Not all "truthers" believe "George Bush did it". This type of person is there to cover the tracks, to make serious questioning seem ridiculous by lumping everyone together with the nuts. The short selling of stock, the dancing Israelis, just to name a few, indicate a prior knowledge among people that are not Muslims. Patriots are not weak people who back down from loyalists. By the way, I am a Truther - but am in no way offended by her opinions (that is-either of her diametrically opposed opinions). She is allowed her freedom to be ignorant of the facts of 9/11 and her freedom to cave into political pressure. I have my freedom at the electronic voting machine.
