Deborah Voigt will have a diverse and adventurous series of summer performances

Soprano Deborah Voigt will be spending her summer at three major festivals. This will involve some interesting company and equally interesting repertoire. Most importantly, she will be the Mosher Guest Artist at the 2014 Summer School and Festival at the Music Academy of the West, giving both a recital and a master class. She will also be giving a master class at the Aspen Music Festival. Her two performances will feature Rufus Wainwright, first as a duet partner and then as composer when she gives a recital performance of arias from his first opera, Prima Donna. Her third festival appearance will be at Ravinia with the Chicago Symphony, where she will again exercise what The New York Times called her “Broadway baby” skills. Specifics are as follows:
