On Oct. 8, CBS revealed that a new book by author Deborah Norville will look at the hit TV show “Inside Edition” and it long 25-year run. The announcement coincides with the show’s 25th anniversary. The book, titled “The Way We Are: Heroes, Scoundrels and Oddballs from 25 Years of Inside Edition” releases nationwide on Oct. 22.
Distributed by Simon & Schuster, and authored by award-winning anchor and “New York Times” best-selling author Deborah Norville, and producer Charlie Carillo, “The Way We Are,” gives readers a look back at some of the show’s more interesting stories.
“Our world has changed dramatically since ‘Inside Edition’ debuted in 1989,” said Norville, the two-time Emmy Award winner, who has been the show's anchor since 1995. “We are excited to pay tribute to the many famous faces and events that shaped a generation.”
Norville’s new book about “Inside Edition” takes a look at the show’s past anchors including David Frost (1989) and Bill O’Reilly (1989-1995). It also addresses some of the most famous and intriguing stars that “Inside Edition” has covered throughout the years including Michael Jackson, Princess Diana, Tonya Harding, OJ Simpson, Anna Nicole Smith and JFK Jr.
