Debby Ryan knows just how difficult it can be to be to find the perfect project. The young star has been in the entertainment business before her teens and is best known as Bailey on the Disney Channel original series The Suite Life on Deck. On Wednesday afternoon she unveiled her latest film project with the Radio Rebel movie premiere held at the AMC CityWalk Stadium 19 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
“I basically came to Disney and I told them I was ready to do another movie. Radio Rebel came about because after 16 Wishes and after we had talked about Jessie I went in for a pitch meeting where I had pitched a couple of ideas and books,” Debby Ryan told Just Jared Jr. “I suggested some projects for them to do using me as talent or as a producer or whatever it is. They liked this idea and liked that it was a bit older, with me playing a nanny. They wanted to do 6 episodes of Jessie and then come back.”
Come back she did and when she got the script for Radio Rebel she worked on making it perfect for her acting skills in her next big film. Based on the book Shrinking Violet, the entertainer shared that she worked to make it the best for her audience.
With the premiere of the Radio Rebel being shown to her fans on Friday exclusively on the Disney Channel, Ryan’s fans will definitely be sharing just how they feel about her latest project.
