Deathpact Angel is one of the newest cards spoiled from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming expert "Magic: The Gathering" expansion set "Gatecrash."
Deathpact Angel - 3WBB
Creature - Angel (Mythic Rare
When Deathpact Angel dies, put a 1/1 white and black Cleric creature token onto the battlefield. It has "3WBB, Tap, Sacrifice this creature: Return a card named Deathpact Angel from your graveyard to the battlefield."

Revealed today in an article by Mark Gottlieb on Wizards.com, it'll take more than just one removal spell for your opponent to deal with Deathpact Angel. They'll have to stick Deathpact Angel back into your deck with a Terminus or exile it with Oblvion Ring.
Deathpact Angel lacks the aggressive ferocity of Sublime Archangel, can't enable combos like Angel Glory's Rise, or make an impact on your opponent's board position like Angel of Serenity. It will help you win a long match though, being resurrected again and again by its faithful cleric.
Deathpact Angel makes a great choice for Orzhov players who'd like to control the battlefield with sweepers like Mutilate.
Deathpact Angel is also a worthy candidate for your Kaalia of the Vast deck.
How will you use Deathpact Angel?
