There has been shock in Hollywood circles upon hearing news that Paul Walker died instantly in a car crash. TMZ reported on Dec. 2, 2013, that Walker's death car may have malfunctioned. It appears the sports car that Walker violently died in crashed due to a mechanical failure which appears to have been due to a steering fluid leak.
Sources who are associated with Always Evolving, which is the shop co-owned by Walker and the Porsche driver Roger Rodas, told TMZ they saw evidence of a fluid burst followed by a fluid trail before the skid marks at the scene of the accident. They have said it is their opinion the driver lost control of the steering of the car. Furthermore, the spreading fire in the front of the car reinforced their theory of a fluid leak of some type. Walker was a passenger in a $500,000 Carrera GT when the car crashed.
