Last night a tragic event occurred at Cal Poly. A student in Poly Canyon Village--the sophomore housing community--was found not breathing. As he was whisked away to a local hospital, paramedics pronounced him dead at the hospital.
Although the cause of death is currently unknown, it is clear that whatever the reason, students will certainly be on high alert of their own safety, health, and will be finding ways to cope. As in past tragedies, the family of the student--still unannounced--will surely be comforted by those at Cal Poly.
