The Friends will be celebrating the birthday of the composer (commemorated with a bust in the lobby) by performing one of Verdi's more popular works, “La Traviata,” according to Dearborn Theater Manager Martin Zbosnik.
Quinto Milito will voice the baritone, Karin White and Annie Clark will perform the soprano parts, and Carlos Seise and Len Poma will do the tenors. The only instrumental accompaniment will be by pianist Jacqueline Csurgai Schmitt. The Friends will not be performing Verdi's “La Traviata” in full, but in excerpts, Zbosnik said.
Tickets for the Oct. 10 concert can be purchased up until curtain time at (313) 943-2354, at DEARBORNTHEATER.COM, or at the Theater Box Office at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave. Prices are $18 for Orchestra A seating ($15 in the Orchestra B section).
