DeAnthony Thomas reportedly told Lane Kiffin he was choosing Oregon

Although Oregon head coach Chip Kelly announced the team's 2011 signing class earlier today, the Ducks have scholarships available and are still free to add players. The most heralded of those players is 5-star athlete DeAnthony Thomas, who reportedly told USC head coach Lane Kiffin late Wednesday afternoon that he will switch his commitment to the University of Oregon.

Anthony, coined the original "Black Mamba" by Snoop Dogg years ago, had committed to USC in the spring of 2010. However, he made a surprise official visit to the Oregon campus over the past weekend, and his allegiance to the USC football program appeared to be wavering.

Multiple reports have reliable sources claiming Thomas told USC head coach Lane Kiffin that he intends to decommit from the Trojans tonight and become an Oregon Duck.

The official announcement is expected to take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday evening, and is likely the most anticipated letter of intent signing in the history of the Oregon football program.
