Dean McDermott has entered rehab for "intense" therapy involving health and personal issues. McDermott spoke exclusively with People and the magazine published a Jan. 23 report on the statement he gave them.

Earlier this month McDermott was in the tabloids for allegedly cheating on his wife, Tori Spelling, with a woman by the name of Emily Goodhand. She claimed to have spent a few nights with him back in December when he was in Toronto promoting his new hosting gig with "Chopped Canada."

This is Dean McDermott's statement released Thursday:

"I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family. I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves."

Ever since the McDermott/Goodhand scandal, Spelling has put on a good front and at times photographed with her husband. Not much has been public knowledge since the headlines were plastered all over the Internet.

Does the fact that Dean McDermott entered rehab give any hint that his alleged affair with Emily Goodhand is true?
