Dean McDermott Enters Rehab

Actor Dean McDermott has entered a Los Angeles-area rehab facility for an undisclosed matter, reports the Huffington Post. This follows widely-reported rumors that the actor allegedly cheated on his wife, former “Beverly Hills 90210” actress, Tori Spelling. As a matter of fact, McDermott was seen leaving the facility on January 18 with his wife by his side. According to previous accounts, the Canadian-born McDermott had cheated with a woman he met in Toronto, where he hosts the cooking show “Chopped Canada.”

It would appear that Tori Spelling has chosen to focus on the couple's four children, as she has not publicly addressed the allegations of McDermott's infidelity. She even posted family photos during the Christmas holidays as rumors of the affair began to surface. The couple, who have been married for seven years, are the parents of Liam, Stella, Hattie and Finn.

In a statement that was issued today, January 23, McDermott said: “I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family. I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves.”
