Dean Markley USA announced today that it will be giving away free strings every day at their booth #5710 during the upcoming National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) show in Anaheim, California.
To receive free strings, attendees simply need to be at the booth #5710 on January 24 through 27 at 2PM. The promotion is on a first come, first serve basis. Attendees will need provide their email address.
In other news announced by the company today, a meet and greet opportunity with rocker Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue and Sixx:A.M. will take place at 5:00PM on January 26th, at booth # 5710.
Of interest to metal bassists at NAMM will be the release of the new Nikki Sixx Helix HD SS Bass Strings. This collaboration with Dean Markley USA and Nikki Sixx offers the exact string type and gauges he uses while playing live. The strings are constructed of stainless steel alloy and feature new Helix patent-pending hyper-elliptical windings.
A meet and greet with REO Speedwagon’s Dave Amato and Dokken’s Sean McNabb at 4:00PM on January 26th will ensue the booth during this year’s NAMM Show.
Sean McNabb will also be there to endorse Dean Markley at NAMM. Sean McNabb joined Dokken as their bassist in 2009 and has been a mainstay with the band since. He has recorded over 35 CD's in his discography. He has also toured and recorded with Quiet Riot, House of Lords, Great White, Lynch Mob, Montrose, Bad Moon Rising, Rough Cutt, and XYZ.
A meet and greet with Black Label Society’s Nick Catanese and Archer’s Dylan Rose will take place at the booth at 1:00PM on January 26th.
Lita Ford, guitarist, solo artist and former member of The Runaways will make also an appearance at 12:00PM Thursday on January 24th at noon, endorsing Dean Markley strings.
The company says its recent success and growth of Dean Markley USA can be credited to its recent purchase by private equity group, Blackhawk Management. Combined with the acquisition of Ultrasound Amplifiers, Blackhawk looks to expand its role in the musical instrument industry by adding top shelf products to its manufacturing and distribution network.
