What happens when Mammoth Mountain Ski Area throws a birthday party for its woolly mammoth mascot? Kids are invited to join the fun at Woolly’s Winter Carnival Feb. 25-27 with free lift tickets for kids!
Woolly's Winter Carnival
In honor of Woolly's birthday, Canyon Lodge will transform into a winter wonderland just for kids. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, kids can enjoy snowmobile rides, sledding and other free activities like:
· Woolly's igloo – see where Woolly hangs his ski cap!
· A chance to meet Ski Patrol dogs King and Chief
· Magician, puppet show, juggler and face painting
· Carnival games
· Scavenger hunt
· Snowcat demos
· Snow sculptures
· Coloring contest
· Cake for Woolly's birthday (3 p.m.)
During Woolly's Winter Carnival, kids ages 7-12 receive one free lift ticket for each adult lift ticket purchased. Tickets are available at any Mammoth ticket window Feb. 25-27, 2011.
