Deal of the day: fare sale from Denver, cabin in Sonoma

Take advantage of killer deals this week brought about by Southwest Airlines Sale. Check back each week to see the latest. This week’s steals:

Flights from Denver:

Many airlines have followed suit once Southwest announced their 3-day, $39 one way fare sale. Now has compiled a list of all the airlines flying out of Denver to various destinations. Sample fares start at $39 one way to $79 one way. The longer flights are coming in around $119 one way. Travel most dates, Sept. 8 - Nov. 17, 2010 and must book by Thursday, June 24th. Expedia has teamed up with United Airlines to offer their version of the summer sale. Score new summer discounts to select U.S. destinations by booking a flight from $162+ roundtrip. Travel before September 1, 2010 and must book by Wednesday, June 23rd. Click here to go to Expedia.

Sonoma County:

Take the dog and head to wine country! The Dawn River Ranch has rustic cabins tucked into the redwoods along the Russian River and are pet-friendly. Book any two weekday nights and receive a third free. Prices start at $99/night for a regular cabin or $139/night for a chalet room. Must book by July 1, 2010.
