Who’s the craziest, most fantastic mercenary that you know of? Who’s the one with the steadiest aim, the one with the most badass swords, the one crazy enough to call your mother afterwards for a quickie? He also has a love of pancakes and bazookas (preferably your mother’s). Deadpool! Marvel’s fourth wall breaking anti-hero is planning his own game. That’s correct; he’s making sure the developers know what he wants.
What sort of things does Deadpool wants? To have the creepy, odd villain to fight against so that he can save the world, get the hot girl, and blow things up with the biggest explosions that he can find. Deadpool loves his guns, and if you’re the type of player to pick up his game he’s going to want you to have the most fun with the type of guns that create the most damage.
Don’t know who Deadpool is? First off, you’re going to want to reassess your life because you’re most likely a hermit who lives under the local bridge or under a fraternity's staircase. Second, he’s the type of hero to go to your house, talk to you about why the religion of “Deadpool” is the right choice, and why boning your girlfriend is the best thing for him to do at that time. Deadpool is categorized as either a hero or villain in the Marvel universe. It all depends on how he feels, or what’s going on at the time. Sometimes the X-men offer him some pancakes, how can he resist? Other times, he thinks it’d be fantastic if he could go to try and kick Wolverine’s ass. He wakes up on the wrong side of the bed some days.
Deadpool is a widely loved character for his passion of breaking the fourth-wall. This is also the first time where he’ll be having his own standalone game. There have been perhaps mods out there from games where they have Deadpool replacing the main character (or maybe he hijacked the computer’s software) but never his own title. Rather than being a side character from the other X-man games or other Marvel fighting games, he’s starting his own and plans to make it as bloody as possible. This is a new step for Marvel, but I’m sure that Deadpool created a perfect pitch that the developers couldn’t possibly refuse.
It's unknown when the Deadpool game will be released, but check out the trailer that Deadpool to show off the best of what his game is going to be about. There’s less pancakes then most would have expected from him. Deadpool plans to not disappoint with this game. There will be tons of explosions. He’ll have dozens of lovely ladies with gigantic chests that will make most heads turn. Buckets of blood thrown every which way as he blows bad guys and good guys alike down with a barrage of bullets and firepower.
Deadpool’s game is going to be a reflection of his soul: Deranged, with a side of pancakes and an extra helping of women’s breasts. Never forget about the chimichangas.
