Youngsters wishing to participate in the Estero Fine Art Show's November Youth Art Competition have until October 31 to submit their applications. Entrants will have their original and personally handmade art publicly displayed throughout the weekend art festival, which takes place at the Miromar Outlet Mall on November 16 and 17.
The competition is open to young artists in grades K-8 or ages 5-13. There is $250 in Youth Art Awards. Applications are available on the web at www.HotWorks.org.
The Estero Fine Art Show™ takes place twice annually at Miromar Outlets – in the fall on November 16 & 17, 2013 and in the winter on January 4 & 5, 2014. The event occurs on the southeast side of Miromar Outlets, near the intersection of Corkscrew and Ben Hill Griffin Roads. The fair’s main focus is visual arts and community enrichment. The show is juried by professionals in the art industry, with many of the nation’s and Southwest Florida's best artists exhibiting at this show.
"Our goal is to create an atmosphere that enhances the artwork and creates a relaxing environment for art lovers," states Festival Director Patty Narozny. Event hours on Saturday and Sunday are 10-5 daily. The event and parking art both free and open to the public. In addition to the great food, there is free live entertainment from world-class favorites.
The deadline for youth artists who wish to participate in the Youth Art Competition for the January show is December 15.
