‘Deadliest Catch:’ Hillstrand brothers and Captain Sig Hansen return to Alaska

‘Deadliest Catch:’ Andy Hillstrand, Jonathan Hillstrand and Captain Sig Hansen back on ‘Deadliest Catch.’

‘Time Bandit’ skippers Andy Hillstrand, Jonathan Hillstrandand ‘Northwestern’ Captain Sig Hansen have put aside their differences with ‘Discovery Channel’ just in time to rejoin ‘Deadliest Catch’ for the seventh season.

The Hillstrands were previously the target of a $3 million lawsuit for failing to hold up their end of an agreement regarding production on a Discovery Channel special.  "Everyone worked really hard on putting together ‘Hillstranded’ and we're looking forward to wrapping that up. It's something new that we hope people will enjoy," stated Discovery Channel network execs.

"We're happy we've worked everything out with Discovery," the captains said in a joint statement, a week after announcing they couldn't go on after the Hillstrands were sued for breach of contract.

"We're heading up to Dutch Harbor to start filming the new season of ‘Deadliest Catch’ and hopefully it will be the best one yet."

A premiere date for ‘Deadliest Catch’ season seven has not yet been announced.  ‘Deadliest Catch’ documents the king crab fishing season which spans mid-October to mid-December, and the Opilio snow crab fishing season which runs through January.
