If you ever want an example of tear-jerking TV, all you have to do is watch the clip below from Tuesday's episode of "Deadliest Catch". Usually in the world of reality TV, there are few things that can move anyone emotionally -- much of the drama is either scripted or orchestrated, and the characters are often over-the-top caricatures of ordinary people.

There's no questioning that Captain Phil Harris -- who Discovery showed the final footage for Tuesday night -- was flawed in between his chain-smoking and the profane way he often conducted his business. At the same time, though, it was these imperfections that made him so endearing. He was just like one of us, and to see him helpless in a hospital bed in this episode was heartbreaking.

For longtime fans of the show, knowing Captain Phil is what makes some of the final moments harder -- including when he told his son Josh about his regret in life.

Was this episode heat-wrenching for you to watch? Feel free to share your thoughts below.
