Dead woman's body tossed in dumpster, mistaken for mannequin

A woman's dead body found outside an apartment complex in Florida was mistaken as a mannequin and thrown into the trash. According to a video report by GeoBeats, an employee found the body and thought it was an April Fool's Day prank -- so he laughed it off and tossed the body in a nearby dumpster.

The employee asked a nearby couple for help and the three picked up the woman's lifeless body and moved it out of the parking lot where it was found. A couple of hours later, a maintenance worker saw blood under the dumpster -- but the employee who threw the body in there said he thought it was just "red paint."

The employee decided to go back to the dumpster and look at the body he threw inside. He quickly realized that it was not a mannequin. He called police immediately. An investigation revealed that the body was that of a 96-year-old woman who committed suicide by jumping off her balcony. The employee was fired from his job.
