The sizes regarding the mandatory install flies have been revealed for several exclusive launch games on the Xbox One. According to a report by Gaming Everything on Oct. 26, all three titles will need a significant amount of space on the hard drive of the next-generation system.
Both “Dead Rising 3” and “Forza Motorsport 5” have mandatory install file sizes of 35 GB each. “Ryse: Son of Rome” will take even more from the Xbox One hard drive as it will need 47 GB. Microsoft’s new console will include a 500 GB hard drive. Although the storage device can’t be replaced, players can add additional space as the next-generation system supports external hard drives.
Microsoft Studios is the company that will be publishing all three aforementioned titles. “Dead Rising 3” is being developed by Capcom Vancouver while “Forza Motorsport 5” is crafted by Turn 10 Studios. Finally, Crytek is developing “Ryse: Son of Rome,” which started out as Kinect-only Xbox 360 game.
Xbox One will be launching in North America and other select regions from around the world on Nov. 22. The next-generation has an official price tag of $499.99, which is $100 more than the PS4 console that is coming out a week later. The prices for “Dead Rising 3,” “Forza Motorsport 5” and “Ryse: Son of Rome” will be $59.99 each. You can find screens of all three games in the slideshow near the top of this article.
