Confirmed by VideoGamer.com, game publisher Tecmo Koei assured tech aficionados that the latest and most likely last iteration of "Dead or Alive 5" will take full advantage of next-gen hardware from Sony and Microsoft. In addition to running at 1080p at 60fps, the sexy, fast-paced fighting game from Team Ninja promises enhanced graphics. ""Bringing the game to a new generation of consoles is allowing us to create the most graphically striking version of any Dead or Alive game ever," Team Ninja leader Yosuke Hayashi said in the official press release. "We are very happy to give our fans the chance to experience our signature high energy fighting entertainment as only the latest consoles can deliver it."
"Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" will also include new original content for its PS4 and Xbox One debut. The press release stated over 300 open and unlockable costumes will be included in the game, with character customization going even further with the new hairstyle and accessories feature. Previously purchased DLC content from past versions of 'Dead or Alive 5" will be transferable to the new game, Tecmo Koei confirms.
PS4 and Xbox One owners will be able to grab a physical or digital copy of "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" in spring 2015. A PS3 and Xbox 360 version of the game will also be available for purchase.
