DDP talks about Ultimate Warrior WWE Hall of Fame induction

Diamond Dallas Page has been around a lot of wrestlers in his career, from his days in the AWA through his milestones in WCW, and finally in his short stint in the WWE. According to Rajah.com on Jan. 17, DDP did a recent interview where he talked about a number of things, including The Ultimate Warrior's induction into the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame.

Page, who said he was not really a big fan of the Warrior's interview style, also said that there is no doubt that The Ultimate Warrior deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame. He pointed out that, while a lot of people don't like Warrior, even more do like him and his fans are extremely vocal.

DDP even pointed out an autograph signing event where he and Jake Roberts went to sign autographs. He said they had a lot of people waiting on their autographs but when Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan showed up, the line was out the door with people waiting to pay over $100 for an autograph.

DDP also touched on the fact that Ultimate Warrior is getting in before "Macho Man" Randy Savage. While he said Savage deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame, there was a lot of animosity between him and the WWE which kept him out. He did say that it looked like Savage was coming around to it before he died, and it was similar to how Ultimate Warrior finally softened his stance on the WWE.

DDP finally said that he is pretty sure that he will get into the WWE Hall of Fame one day, as will guys like Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, and it is just a matter of patiently waiting till it is a specific wrestlers turn.
