DC Universe Online trailer and release date unveiled

A new cinematic trailer for DC Universe Online has been released, and Sony Online Entertainment has announced the official release date for the upcoming PC/PS3 superhero MMORPG: November 2nd.

The (awesome) trailer is a little more than 6 minutes long and depicts an epic, apocalyptic battle between DC Comics' iconic Justice League characters (Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and the Flash) and Lex Luthor, who is aided by DC villains such as Deathstroke, The Joker, Black Adam, and more.

Pop culture web site Newsarama has also reported from Comic-Con that the game's official release date is November 2nd. Sony has already announced pre-order incentives and details about beta registration as well.
