DC Restaurant Week

The time is here again, restaurant week! DC restaurant week is like fashion week for foodies! This is a great way for restaurants to promote new items or revamp their cuisine. Participating local restaurants will be offering lunch and dinner prix-fixe specials from February 4-10; you can get a three course lunch for $20.13 or a three course dinner for $35.13. Over 240 restaurants are on the list, so this is the best time to try a new place and experience the complete menu, or go to an old favorite and remember why it became your favorite in the first place!

This year there will be an Australian/Aussie Lamb contest, this is where all participating restaurants are encouraged to include their take on this dish on their prix-fixe menu, and afterwards diners can vote for their favorite lamb dish and can even win a prize. For more information on the contest and which restaurants are participating, check out the RAMW website.

Tables fill up fast, so reservations would be wise to ensure that you can enjoy your restaurant of choice. Not all restaurants are participating in serving lunch and/or dinner; some are doing one or the other so do your research beforehand. Not sure which restaurant to chose? Go online and read up on menus and reviews to make the decision easier!

Go for a pleasant lunch with friends or a romantic dinner before Valentines Day, either way, get out there and experience all the deliciousness DC has to offer!
