Toro Toro Is Officially Open: April 5th is the grand opening of Richard Sandoval’s newest DC venture. Head over for to this Latin American venue for dinner and try some of their dishes, which include smoked guacamole, a wild mushroom flatbread, yucca fries, empanadas, and a bevy of fancy cocktails. Celebrity DJ Robbie Rivera will be present for the grand opening.

It’s National Beer Day! DC's popular City Tap House will be offering a number of beer and food specials to commemorate the holiday. In addition to the specials City Tap House has an extensive menu complete with flatbreads, salads, hushpuppies, and other classic American dishes, as well as a series of innovative cocktails. Dolci Gelati Celebrates Its One Year Anniversary: This charming gelateria is celebrating its one year anniversary with the debut of their gelato cake sandwiches, as well as a series of new spring flavors including mango pomegranate, raspberry basil, kir royale sorbetto, key lime pie, and many more. There’s even a cherry blossom gelato flavor available!

TKO Burger To Open: Lance London of Carolina Kitchen is opening a new burger restaurant, complete with a veggie burger option, sweet potato fries, and even a bottomless mimosa and bloody Mary deal that will be offered daily! TKO will open up on April 17 on Rhode Island Row.
