DC Fashion Week starts today! The Kickoff Reception & Eco Fashion Show is sold out for tonight but that doesn't mean you don't have plenty of other events to choose from this week.
You'll want to follow @dcfashionweek on Twitter and look for hashtag #dcfw because they will be organizing a city-wide flash mob on Tuesday, February 18th.
On Wednesday, they'll have pop up appearances by DC Fashion Week Models and a Corjor International Fashion Show with special guest model: David Mcintosh at Madame Tussauds Museum (1001 F Street, NW). Tickets are required ($30).
Attend a Fashion Industry Networking Party on Thursday, February 20 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Dirty Bar (1223 Connecticut Ave, NW). Admission is Free but early arrival is suggested.
Friday is the Haute & Modesty Fashion Show. Tickets are required for the event held at the Four Points Sheraton (1201 K Street, NW). This is a great opportunity to see emerging designers and talent at DC Fashion Week.
On Saturday, February 22, M.E.D.I.A. (Metropolitan Emerging Designer & Indie Artist) Showcase starts at 7:00 PM at the Washington Post Conference Center (1150 15th Street, NW) Some Front Row seats are still available for $50.00 while General admission is $35.00.
Wind down DC Fashion Week and take in the 20th International Couture Collections Show (Algeria, Nigeria, Peru, Ukraine, & United States) on Sunday. VIP Reception and Private Shopping for the best of DC from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM with a Runway Show starting at 6:00 PM. Tickets are requuired for this event at the Historical Society of Washington DC (801 K STREET, NW) General Admission is $70.00 and VIP is $150.00.
