Today, TVShowAuditions.info is reporting that the DC Comics drama series pilot Constantine is now casting series regulars, as well as possible recurring roles. Television crew members can now submit resumes via email to the production company. Casting calls will also take place in Atlanta, GA.
The production company Phantom Four is in pre-production on the Warner Bros. Television series pilot for NBC. Shooting will take place in Atlanta beginning in March, 2014. The extras and strand-ins will be cast prior to the start of filming and throughout production. Constantine centers on Master of the Dark Arts antihero John Constantine, who has been barred from Heaven and teams up with his late friend's daughter, Liv, to help lost souls and fight the demons who are entering our world at a terrifying rate. In addition to this TV series pilot, Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment are in the development stages of the feature film Constantine 2.
British Independent Film Awards winner Neil Marshall will direct Constantine from a script written by Writers Guild of America WGA Award nominee David S. Goyer. Marshall has become a hot commodity in the television directing arena. He has helmed episodes of Game of Thrones and Black Sails, and has been tapped to direct the pilot for the apocalyptic drama series The Messengers. Writer David S. Goyer will also executive produce Constantine, and will serve as showrunner if the series is picked up by NBC. Primetime Emmy Award nominee Daniel Cerone will also executive produce.
