Building the Dream for LGBT Equality: Reflections on the Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
On Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011 the DC Host Committee for the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Unveiling in partnership with the International Federation of Black Prides, The Human Rights Campaign, The National Gay & Lesbian Task Force, The National Center for Lesbian Rights, Pride at Work of the AFL-CIO, The Raben Group and the Washington Blade will host a reception honoring the living legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This event will feature reflections by LGBT local and national figures and allies. There is a limited number of tickets available for this free event. RSVP is required.
