Daytons Runs to a 43-38 Come From Behind Win

The Dayton Broncos turned a six point half-time deficit into a five point come from behind victory over the Liberty Panthers.

An 18-6 run in third quarter led to the Broncos win. Dayton took its first lead of the game since a game opening free throw by Xavier Eaglin on a steal and a lay-up by Jacarious Keener with 3:46 left in the third.

Keener of Dayton scored ten of his team high 14 points in the second half to pace the Broncos win. Deion Jackson 12 points and Derrick Rideau had eight points.

Liberty’s Jalon Ward led all scorers with 18 points.

Dayton, winners in three of their last five games have now built a three game winning streak as they re-enter District 19-4A play on Friday night Jan, 4th at Summer Creek High School. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30p.m.

Liberty will begin District 22-3A play again when they travel to ColdSpring-Oakhurst for a 7:30p.m. tip-off on Friday night January 4, 2013.
