NASCAR kicks off its 2014 season with practice at Daytona International Speedway. Daytona Preseason Thunder runs from Thursday, January 9th through Tuesday, January 14th and features all three of NASCAR’s top series – Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Trucks – as well as two sessions of Preseason Thunder Fan Fest following practice on Thursday, January 9th for the Cup Series and Saturday, January 11th for the Nationwide Series.
The Sprint Cup Series visits for two days of on-track activity on Thursday and Friday, January 9th and 10th, followed by Nationwide Series testing on Saturday and Sunday, January 11th and 12th and Camping World Truck Series testing on Monday and Tuesday, January 13th and 14th. All test sessions are scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to noon ET and from 1 to 5 p.m. ET.
Preseason Thunder Fan Fests, featuring driver question-and-answer opportunities, autograph sessions and more, are scheduled for Thursday night, January 9th for the Sprint Cup Series and Saturday night, January 11th for the Nationwide Series. The event schedule for Sprint Cup Preseason Thunder, scheduled to take place from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. ET, is available here – the Nationwide Series event schedule has not yet been posted as of this publication.
