Daytona Beach Police say an employee was robbed at a local KFC Restaurant Friday morning. The incident happened at the KFC at 1079 Mason Avenue, west of Nova Road. Daytona Beach Police spokesperson Sgt. John Creamer says a suspect armed with an unknown weapon robbed the store employee at around 9:47 Friday morning, but no one was injured in the hold-up. Police Detectives say the suspect was a black male wearing light-colored pants and a dark shirt. Following the robbery, police say the suspect fled in a green, older-model GM vehicle, perhaps a Buick or Oldsmobile. The car was reported to be a dull green, four-door, with a second black male driving.

Anyone with information about the case can call Daytona Beach Police Detective Trisha Loomis at 386-671-5216, or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS (8477).
