Dayton LGBT Center to host annual Thanksgiving dinner

On Saturday, November 22nd, 2009, the Dayton LGBT Center will be hosting the annual Greater Dayton LGBT Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The dinner, which is free and open to members, friends and family of the LGBT community, will begin with a social hour at 5:30 PM. Dinner will be called at 6:30, with entertainment and community announcements to follow.

Event sponsors will be furnishing turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, drinks and tableware. Those who attend are asked to bring a dessert, side dish or salad to share with the group.

After dinner, the Dayton Gay Men's Chorus will be performing portions of their 2009 Winter Concert. Community announcements will follow the performance.

The dinner will be held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 101 Huffman Avenue in Dayton. Those seeking more information can call the Center director at 937-274-1776 or e-mail the Center director at PrideDayton@aol.com.
