Dayton Lady Broncos roll big over K-Park 10-3

The Dayton Lady Broncos rolled to a decisive 10-3 victroy over the Kingwood Park Lady Panthers in a key District 19-4A match-up Tuesday night in Kingwood.

The win moved the Lady Broncos into a third place tie in District 19-4A with Crosby. Both teams are 8-4 with four games to play.

Dayton's Chelsea Hostetler powered the Lady Broncos 12 hit attack with a pair of two-run homeruns. Leading 1-0 behind an rbi double from Alicia Davila, Hostetler drove an ALyssa Gardner pitch over the left field wall for a 3-0 lead after a half inning of play.

In the fourth, Dayton extended the lead to 8-0. The big blow a bases clearing double by Lyndsey Harryman.

Meanwhile Presley Bell held the Lady Panther bats in check. Bell who struck out eight in the game giving her 97K's in 70 innings of work surrendered two runs in the fourth and another in the sixth to post her tenth win of the season.

Hostetler struck again in the seventh drilling another Gardner pitch over the left field fence for her fourth home run of the season and her second of the night. The Lady Broncos team leader in home runs (4) extended her team high rbi total to 17 as she collected three hits and four rbi's on the night.

Each of the Lady Broncos hitters collected at least one hit. Seven of the Broncos 12 hits went for extra bases including five doubles and two home runs. Harryman and Shelby Robbins ech collected two doubles.

With four games left in the regular season, Dayton returns home to host the Humble Lady Wildcats in a 5:00p.m. match-up on Friday April 5th.

Meanwhile sophomore pitcher Presley Bell held the K-Park bats in check until the fourth when the Lady Panthers put up a two spot.
