Dayton Dutch Lions 2nd tryout rescheduled

In a press release today, the Dayton Dutch Lions announced that their second tryout has been rescheduled for Friday March 12th, at Miami Valley South Stadium in Bellbrook. Those interested in trying out for Dayton's first professional soccer team, should e-mail for an application.

The Dutch Lions signed 4 players after holding their first tryout on January 30th.  The tryout was held at Athletes in Action sports complex in Xenia attracting over 70 potential players.  Participants braved the brisk January weather to tryout in front of club scouts.  Fox 45 News was on hand to cover the action.  You can view their broadcast here.  The Lions are looking to add up to another 7 players.

The Dutch Lions also announced recently the addition of former Xavier University Head Coach, Jack Hermans, to their coaching staff.  Visit the Dutch Lions on line at .
