2/21 Dayton vs. Vidor - Broncos win 4-2. Tim Wehmeyer pitched 5 innings giving up 1 run. Kevin Roe came in and got the save. Triston Baughman led offensively with a home run.

2/22 Dayton vs. Beaumont Kelly - Dayton wins 14-5. Brad Sowell pitched a complete game. Brad Sowell, Triston Baughman, Blake Schmidt, Austen Riche', Kevin Roe, Connor Green, Jordan Trahan, and Connor Partin all with rbi's.

2/22 Dayton vs. Orangefield - Broncos continued their winning ways with a 7-6 win. Trailing 6-1 in the 3rd inning, the Broncos omeback ended with a walk-off game winning hit by game winning pitcher Jerry Maddox. Blake Schmidt and Tim Wehmeyer combined for five stolen bases.. Kevin Roe led the team with 2 rbi's.

Huffman Tournament
Dayton's perfect season run continued with three more wins in the Huffman baseball tournament.

The Broncos opened the tournament beating Spring Memorial 7-0 behind five shutout innings from Kevin Roe. Left-hander Tim Wehmeyer picked up the save setting the down the final six batters. Jordan Trahan's two run home run and two hits piece from Austen Riche, Brad Sowell, and Wehmeyer keyed the offensive attack.

On Saturday, the Broncos swept a twi-night doubleheader defeating Hardin-Jefferson 8-5 in a come from behind win and took the nightcap in a runaway 10-1. After a rocky first in game one, starter Brad Sowell settled down to limit H-J to one run over six innings before giving way to Wehmeyer who recorded is third save of the season.

Game two saw the Broncos score early and often in launching a 10-1 win. Jerry Maddox went six strong innings punching out 14 of 18 hitters. Josh Eckerman pitched the seventh to preserve the win.

Dayton hits the road to New Caney on Tuesday for the District 19-4A opener. First pitch is slated for 6p.m.
