Daytime Emmy-winning soap actress signs record-breaking deal to join ‘RHOBH'

Bravo executives may have scored a huge star for the upcoming season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Not only has Lisa Rinna reportedly joined the cast, but another soap opera heavy-hitter has reportedly inked a record-breaking deal to join the “RHOBH” cast.

Fresh off a Daytime Emmy win for her role as Kristen DiMera on “Days of Our Lives” and the announcement that she is returning to “The Young and the Restless” as Ashley Abbott, Eileen Davidson has signed a contract for to join the cast of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Michael Fairman reported on July 31 states that Davidson's salary will be paid approximately $750,000 as a "RHOBH" cast member.

The $750,000 reportedly makes Eileen Davidson the "Housewife” to receive the highest starting salary of any of the Bravo “Housewives” franchises. Some of the ladies of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” were given raises going into the new season. Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards and Yolanda Foster will earn a reported $500,000 each this season. There is no word on what Kim Richards, Brandi Glanville, Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof will earn this season.

Eileen Davidson has been married to Vince Van Patten since 2003 and the couple has one child, 13-year old son Jesse. Vince Van Patten, a former child star, has been a professional tennis player, as well as a professional poker player. He is the youngest son of actor Dick Van Patten and his wife Pat. He has two sons from a previous marriage.

Bravo is counting on the fact that Davidson’s huge fan following from both “The Young and the Restless,” which airs on CBS, and “Days of Our Lives,” which airs on NBC, will boost ratings for the new season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Veteran reality television star and soap actress Lisa Rinna, has joined the cast of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" as well, with a reported salary of $400,000. Rinna also brings along a famous husband. Lisa is married to Harry Hamlin who has starred in such hit television shows as "LA Law" and "Veronica Mars." Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin have been married since 1997 and the couple have two daughters and have starred in the reality show "Lisa Loves Harry" together.
