Just a week after Alison Sweeney taped her last scenes as everyone's favorite daytime drama bad girl Sami Brady on NBC's long-running 'Days of Our Lives', the busy star sets her sights on Music City. No, she isn't the latest actress to try her hand a singing, instead she'll be signing. Alison will be among the many stars appearing in Nashville at the hugely popular annual CMA Music Fest. She'll also be on-hand Saturday morning as part of the annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game.

Alison, who's just released her second novel, "Scared Scriptless", may be leaving 'DAYS' at year's end, but she'll remain the host of NBC's primetime reality weight-loss competition series, 'The Biggest Loser'. It's the star's longtime association with the series, and her own commitment to fitness awareness that brings Alison to CMA Fest for the first time since she and fellow 'DAYS' cast members were in Nashville back in 2006.

This time around, Alison has partnered with City of Hope, one of the nation's leading cancer research and treatment facilities as their official Fitness Ambassador. As City of Hope's Fitness Ambassador, on Friday, June 6 from 12noon until 1:30p.m., then again on Saturday, June 7 from 2p.m. until 3:30p.m., Alison will be on hand at City of Hope's booth (number 502) located inside Nashville's beautiful new Music City Center (201 5th Avenue South, at the intersection of 5th and Demonbreun) signing autographs and chatting with fans.

If you don't get a chance to meet Alison at the autograph signing, she will also be part of this year's annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game held Saturday morning at 9a.m. at Greer Stadium (534 Chestnut Street, Nashville, TN 37203. Alison will be playing for Team iHeart alongside country stars Sara Evans, Florida Georgia Line, Dustin Lynch, Danielle Bradbery, Lindsay Ell, SaraBeth and 'American Idol''s Kree Harrison as well as former Nashville Predator hockey favorite Stu Grimson, The Black Crow's Steve Gorman, 'CMT Hot 20 Countdown co-host Alecia Davis and Team Coach DJ and popular radio host Bobby Bones.

Team iHeart will face Team Opry headed by 'Coach' and Grand Ole Opry GM Pete Fisher. Among Fisher's heavy hitters are Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Chuck Wicks, Sarah Darling, Chase Rice, Jamie Lynn Spears, Brothers Osborne, Eric Decker, Jessie James Decker, Two Story Road, Dee Jay Silver and Chip Esten from ABC's hit series 'Nashville'.
