**********Spoiler Alert: This article contains spoilers and major plot points for the Monday, April 21st episode of "Days of our Lives." Please stop reading if you don't want to be spoiled.*********

Fans of NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” are in for a treat when a Must-See episode of the Emmy winning show airs on Monday, April 21 focusing on the characters of EJ (James Scott) and Sami (Alison Sweeney). The story line that has been playing the past few months with EJ having an affair with Abby (Kate Mansi) is about to come to a head when Sami finds out. The episode, shot last November, will mark the first time in a while that a soap has focused an entire episode on just two characters. In the promo for the show this week, an envelope arrives that Sami finds, in if is damaging evidence of EJ and Abby making love for Sami to see first-hand. Monday’s episode is when the devastated and angry woman scorned confronts EJ.

The episode was incredibly important and flattering to the actors who both excitedly hinted at the story during an interview with Daytime TV Examiner during the Day of Days Fan Event, last year.

This week’s Soap Opera Digest features a three page feature on the reveal with quotes for the actors about the storyline. Both Sweeney and Scott give their reactions to the story and give an insight to what their characters are feeling. "It was such a unique opportunity, and it is an episode that I will treasure having been a part of for the rest of my life," Sweeney told the mag.

Sweeney posted a special message about the episode to fans on her Facebook Page, expressing her how pleased she was with the episode and how honored she is to be a part of such a show.

I am so proud of the episode airing on Monday, April 21st. We worked so hard on it, and everyone gave their all. I hope you watch.
Thinking back on all the pivotal episodes I've been blessed to be a part of at Days of our Lives, this without question stands out at the top. And believe me, as we were shooting it everyone was thinking about YOUR reactions. So ... I can't wait to read your thoughts after!! XOXO

The actress is even looking into her taping schedule during the episode to see if she can live tweet with fans.

EJ and Sami’s relationship has been bumpy to say the least. The couple met, oddly enough like any soap couple, as neighbors living next door to each other. The two exchange flirty banter in addition to developing their growing friendship, even though Sami is seeing someone at the time. When Sami’s ex and the father of her child, Lucas is trapped in a snow storm, she is forced to seek help. In doing so, she runs into a fugitive from the law EJ who will only help her save her ex if she sleeps with him. She reluctantly agrees later becoming pregnant with his child, though she tells him that her ex Lucas is the father of her now born twins. EJ redeems himself in Sami’s eyes, apologizing profusely about his forcing himself on her and the two become scheming partners. Over the years it leads to a cantankerous romance that has had its share of ups and downs as the couple have fought, broken up and gotten back together numerous times. Things are good between or so Sami thinks.

Will this latest time be the straw that breaks the camel’s back and ends the couple for good?

Tune in to “Days of our Lives,” Monday, April 21 to see how it all unfolds when the drama airs on NBC.
